Park was empty on Monday when we checked for one night. The lake is very big I think there will be a fishing tournament upcoming - there were a lot of big time fishing boats coming and going while we were here. The sites were spacious and many were on the lake most slope front to back or side to side - you'll need blocks to level. We stayed in #14 a pull-thru about 15' from the water. The place was so quiet and peaceful we stayed another night. The bath house was older, but clean & I agree the shower curtains could have been about a foot wider. We would camp here again if in the area, but make reservations during the regular season.

You do need blocks to get level. The bath house is next door, so I tried it out. They are clean, but the showers are push-button timers with mister shower heads. No way to control the temp so with mist like water on a cold November night it needs to be hotter. The lake is nice and loaded with beaver... don't know about the fish. You can't beat it for a night's stay over for $17.00. I'd stay here again.

This campground is about 10 minutes off I-10, and around 15 minutes from the French Quarter. People in the office are very nice and helpful. The concrete pads are wide and level, some have stove warmers to take the chill off at night and tables and chairs for around the heaters plus picnic tables. Bathhouse is clean and well maintained, laundry is very nice: we used both facilities. Wi-Fi worked well. We would stay here again when in the area. We stayed in site 55 across from the office and across from the pool that was still open. The laundry was directly behind our site: very convenient.

If you come to Memphis to see Graceland this is the place to stay: it is across the street from Graceland. We spent the entire day touring Graceland and the other exhibits (planes, movies, army, and cars). I was glad we were close after Graceland (3 hours) we went back and let the dogs out for a walk: great area for them at the back of the campground. The pool was closed but looked nice. Laundry and bathhouse were very nice. When they are this good we use them otherwise we shower in the RV. We would definitely stay here again. It rained like crazy all one night and the whole day, and the site was still pretty dry. People in the office were very helpful and gave us several discount coupons for Graceland and other attractions in the area: definitely eat at Marlowe's for their ribs. They will even pick you up in a pink limo for free.

The rate reflects Good Sam discount, but if you want to be within 5 minutes of the Grand Ole Opry, and other attractions this is a great spot. The place was about 1/3 full, so we had the pick of sites since it rained the day we got here - some of the sites had a couple of puddles of water. People are very nice and helpful. Wi-Fi is the best I've ever had at a park. It very easy access, and there is a little highway noise but not bad. We would stay here again.

The sites are very narrow - if the person next to us had a slide out I don't know if you could have walked between the rigs. The sites are stone but they need more stone, and make it a little wider for big rigs - had to drive through mud going out. Some sites had fire rings, but we did not have one. The campground has it's own cavern to tour at a reduced rate if you stay there. They have a large antique store to stroll through. This was a good stop off for a night on our way to VA Tech.

This must be a great area in the summer plenty of fishing and boating. Sites are very well in laid out with concrete pads, tables and fire rings. The bathrooms and shower as well as the laundry were almost like home. All of the sites are back-ins during the season, but they let us take 2 sites and use them as a pull-thru. I could not get the Wi-Fi in our rig. We would stay here again.

It was a good over night campground - easy access right off I-90, so you have a little traffic noise. We didn't have a picnic table and there are no fire rings. Sites were wide enough to have our awning down, and the mountain view was very pretty. The prison and (very good) auto museum along with an 1858 town replica, old toy museum and an old west museum/saloon we couldn't believe the number of old whiskey bottles in perfect condition from all over the country. All the museums are for one price and well worth it - they were fun. The laundry and rest rooms were clean and we used them.

This place is too good to be true - just north of Spokane. It is only 7 years old and the grass looks like the golf course that is within 100 yards of our campsite #112. The club house is beautiful with a pool table (adults only) huge TV and entertainment center, fireplace, dance floor, card table and plush furniture. The pool (80 degrees) and whirlpool (102 degrees) were in perfect condition. The only problem we had with this place was we only booked one night - we almost changed the plans we had for the next 4 campgrounds (already booked) to stay here for a few more days. Come here and spend a few days you will not be sorry.

The park was centrally located, and close to a store, restaurant and gas, which made it real convenient. They had no picnic tables and fires are not allowed. Spaces are very narrow and "L" shaped to allow you to park your car next to the RV. The one draw back to the park were the mosquitoes - they were fierce and plentiful. You could not sit outside, and taking the dogs for a walk was a chore. No communications with the outside world at all! No cell phone, satellite, radio, not even NOAH weather.

Very convenient to I-90; 2 blocks down and one over and you are there. Very small campground, but the owner was very nice and helpful getting you into your site and giving directions for things to see in the area. WI-FI worked well, and the historical town of Wallace was just 6 miles down the road. Silver mine and bordello tours are some of the things to see in town.

This park was as close as we could get to Chicago. The concete pad was very short, so if you are towing and don't unhook - the front wheels of the motorhome will be off the pad by about 15'. Once you are off the pad you are in soft black sand, and you will need lots of leveling blocks. The laundry was so old we didn't want to use it. It took us about 1 1/2 to get to the Navy Pier in Chicago. I think next time we would look for another place to use as a base. Price reflects KOA discount.

I have to agree with the previous camper. The acess road is gravel with mud or dust depending on the weather. We go here just after 5" of rain, and most of the sites were flooded. The site water was so bad it was yellow, and the pool was green. WIFI 60" from the office was a 4% too poor to even use. The pull through site are pull through only if there isn't anyone in front of you. I would drive another 100 miles even after a 400 mile day to get to another campground. Rate reflects KOA discount... they should have given alot more.

This was a great campground I wish we could have stayed here longer. The sites were gravel, but very level with 2 sewer hook-ups. The owner was very friendly, and the pool was great especially for the kids... fountains and slides for the little ones. Mini golf was excellent, but a little pricey at $4.50. The showers were large with a chair and shelves, but 25 cents for 4 minutes. We would stay here again.

We were here for a rally, and the price reflects activities and food. The sites were very close together - could not put down the awning, but did get the slides out. The complex is huge - being new this was the first time someone utilized the entire building. Very easy to get to, a couple of blocks off the interstate. The rally was a great time.

This is a very nice campround, and continues to add more sites now under construction. The pool looks nice, but opens after Memorial Day. The have a small amusement park for an extra fee - nice for the kids but bring money. Restrooms are family type and very clean. They have a sink, toilet and shower in each with plenty of room to change.Perfect AT&T air card reception, and good satellite signals. Pull through sites are very long and very wide. You can pull in without unhooking the towed vehicle. Sites and roads are gravel and very level sites. Tables are extra long. Pavilions available for use at an extra charge. We camped here in a motor home in a nice open space with plenty of room. Price reflects KOA discount. We would camp here again.

This campground is very nice with a stocked lake full of trout and you can keep up to 2 per person per week. This campground would be a 10 if not for the quarry that is about a mile away. During the week it sounds like a train in the distance - you get use to it. The sites are wide and long with concrete pads for most sites. The tent sites are well padded with about a foot of mulch. This is our second stay, and would stay here again. One other item - the indoor, spa and outdoor pools don't open until 5/1, and the cafe is only open on the weekend.

This campground is one of the best we have stayed in - well landscaped, paved roads. concrete pads, just about any activity you could ask for. They had several theme rentals available - Yurt is right on the lake with it's own dock and paddle boat. If we could find anything wrong with this place it was that the cafe was not open - only on the weekends at least during the off season. I don't know if it is open all the time during the regular season or not. Book well in advance if you want to get in.

The pool was closed after Labor Day, and we were told the restaurant and bar were not open all season. There was a new club house with a nice play room for the kids and a ping pong table a TV and reading room and WIFI. It also had 3 washers and dryers in the building. There were no activities planned, but the campsites were nice, and we had a nice view of Henderson Bay. There wasn't much fishing from shore, because the water was very shallow - about waist deep 20' to 30' out around the island, and in some spots the weeds are very thick. There were a lot of gnats all around the island, but it was still a very relaxing and beautiful place to stay. We met a lot of seasonal campers there that have been coming back since the park opened.

The pond was 4' low and if you wanted to use the kayaks you had to walk through 6' of mud at the shore line. Mini golf course was great. We'd go again. Cable hookup was at only a few sites near the store. No satellite available because of the trees. Sites were well kept.

Only about 1/3 of the sites have sewer & cable and they are reserved for members. We were invited for to look at the campground and listen to a 2 hour presentation - there was no pressure to buy a membership. We we said no - it was over - enjoy your stay. They had a Civil War re-enactment going on all weekend that was very interesting. The bathrooms were individual shower, sink and toilets and very clean. The small pond is catch and release - no fun for someone that likes fish. Sites and roads were stone - not too much dust. They have a very few golf carts reserved for members. A member next to us was going to move to a site with sewer and cable when it was available in 2 days. The rental cabins are beautiful with all the goodies.

The dog run was non-existent, and the wilderness trail was a 50' long path trough tall grass. Crabbing is poor this time of the year. We had a great breeze coming up the river all weekend or we would have died it was so hot and humid. The site we had was a pull in and was 20' from the river front. Very relaxing fishing in front of the RV. The pool was very nice and not usually crowded. We'd go again maybe later in the season to get some crabs.
